Call for posters and lightning talks at ANTS XVII

There will be lightning talk and poster sessions at the conference.

Posters

At the poster session the posters will be put up on poster boards and participants can ask questions to the author(s) of each poster. You must register for the conference and present the poster in person in Groningen. The poster will also be posted online.

Lightning talks

Both as an alternative to, and in support of the poster session, we are holding a session of lightning talks. These are very short talks that concisely summarize a research result in three slides or less. Lightning talks may describe joint work, but must be presented by a single author of that work. The lightning talk session will take place before the poster session. You must register for the conference and present the talk in person in Groningen. The session will be streamed for online participants.

Note that this is independent of the rump session, which will not be open for submissions until the conference starts.

Combinations

You can be a co-author of the work presented in multiple lightning talks and/or posters, but you can be the lead presenter of at most one poster and you can present at most one lightning talk. If you present both a lightning talk and a poster (as lead presenter), then they must be about the same work. In case you are presenting a joint work, it is allowed to have one author presenting the lightning talk and another author presenting the poster.
